Mitchell Throws Fastball Half-Court Pass To Ingles For Easy Layup

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell looked like a baseball pitcher when he hit Joe Ingles with a fastball half-court length that beat the defense and led to an easy layup.
Mitchell’s 98-mph fastball came from behind the halfcourt line and found its way into Ingles’ hands near the baseline late in the third quarter of Utah’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, November 6.
The Ingles layup gave the Jazz an 81-71 lead with 2:02 left in the third quarter.

After the pass, Mitchell was up to five assists in the game. He also had a Jazz high 21 points. Mitchell also posted 5 rebounds including 4 offensive boards. He also had a steal on his stat line.
Ingles led the Utah bench with 14 points heading to the final quarter. The Jazz forward recorded those points on 6-9 shooting. He also added 2 rebounds and an assist.
The Jazz went to the final quarter with an 85-73 lead over the Sixers.
