Utes Move Up One Spot In Latest AP Poll

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – After their win over the Washington Huskies, 33-28 on Saturday afternoon, the Utah Utes have moved up one spot in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Utah moves up from No. 9 to No. 8 and are now just one spot behind Oregon, who remained at No. 7 with their dominating win over USC.
It’s the highest ranking for the Utes since October 18, 2015 when they were No. 3 in the country.
In the coaches poll, Utah moved up one spot from No. 10 to No. 9.
The first College Football Playoff rankings of the season will be released on Tuesday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

Washington received just two votes after losing their second straight game for the first time since 2015. Oregon and Utah are the only two Pac-12 teams to be ranked in the top 25.

Utah will have a bye this week and will return to Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, November 16 to face the UCLA Bruins. Game time and broadcast information will be announced on Monday.
