ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Dixie State football team was honored with the number one spot in SportsCenter’s Top Ten plays.
The Trailblazers received the top play from a wild catch that happened in their game against Colorado Mesa on Saturday, November 2.
Instead of catching an interception from Colorado Mesa’s quarterback himself, Dixie State’s Kaejin Smith-Bejgrowicz hit the ball back to J.T. Anderson who caught the ball and secured the Trailblazers a possession and a spot on ESPN’s highlights.
The play was the first time Dixie State has appeared as the top play on SportsCenter.
