LOGAN, Utah – Kickoff is approaching here at Maverik Stadium in the Battle for The Old Wagon Wheel between rivals BYU and Utah State.
Utah State and their fans are wearing black uniforms and black helmets for a blackout game. BYU not letting Utah State have all the fun in the uniform action is donning a new look as well.
BYU is going with an all-white look tonight in Logan. But it won’t be the white uniforms and pants with navy blue numbers and stripes. Instead, it will be with royal blue numbers and trim.
It’s about that time!!

Last time BYU wore white uniforms with royal blue numbers and stripes was in 1997 against SMU at the Cotton Bowl Stadium.
Two schools that pride themselves on having navy blue as their primary color will not feature any navy blue on Saturday night.
BYU and Utah State kick off at 8 p.m. (MT) and the game will be televised on ESPN2. You can listen to the broadcast of the game on KSL Newsradio 102.7 FM, 1160 AM, and the KSL Newsradio app.
