SEATTLE, Wash. – After giving up a touchdown on Washington’s opening drive, Utah’s defense came up big. Defensive tackle John Penisini tackled Huskies quarterback Jacob Eason, while poking the ball loose.
Utes defensive end Mika Tafua recovered the fumble and Utah took over in Washington territory at their 15-yard line.
Utah couldn’t get much going on offense as they had a four yard rush by Derrick Vickers before Tyler Huntley was sacked for a one-yard loss.
