PHOENIX, Ariz. – Former Utah Jazzman Ricky Rubio played his old team for the first time as a member of the Phoenix Suns.

It was his first game back from injury but dealt with foul trouble, while nearly recording a triple-double. He finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and shooting 4-for-9 from the field in 28 minutes, but committed five fouls.

The player that replaced Rubio on the Jazz roster, Mike Conley couldn’t stay on the floor as he was also dealing with foul trouble. He finished with one point, two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and five fouls. The Jazz guard went 0-for-7 from the field and 0-of-3 from the three-point line.

Rubio was wearing one of Donovan Mitchell’s signature Adidas D.O.N. Issue #1 sneakers.

The Jazz will face the Suns two more times. The only trip to Salt Lake City will be on February 24 and the last matchup taking place on April 11 in Phoenix.

Utah improved to 3-1 on the season and will return home to face the Los Angeles Clippers at Vivint Smart Home Arena. Tip-off will be at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN and AT&T SportsNet.
