Former Jazzman Jae Crowder Hits Game-Winning 3 For Memphis In OT

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Former Utah Jazz and current Memphis Grizzlies forward Jae Crowder hit a game-winning three-pointer in overtime to beat the Brooklyn Nets.
Crowder’s made shot came at the final buzzer of Memphis’ home game on Sunday, October 27.
The former Jazzman received a pass from point guard Ja Morant and shot the ball in stride from the top of the arc to give the Grizzlies a 134-133 win over the Nets.

Crowder started the game at power forward for the Grizzlies. He scored 6 points on 2-6 shooting including 2-5 from downtown. He also added 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.
The Grizzlies win was their first of the 2019-20 NBA season. They now have a 1-2 record.
The Nets fell to 1-2 this season.

Crowder was traded to the Utah Jazz during the 2017-18 season. He played with Utah through the end of last season. The forward appeared in a Jazz uniform for 107 games including 11 starts.

The Jazz traded Crowder to Memphis in July 2019 as part of the deal that moved point guard Mike Conley to Utah.
