Zack Moss Breaks Utah Career Rushing Touchdown Record

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University of Utah star running back Zack Moss is the new record holder in Utah football history for the most career rushing touchdowns.
Entering the game against Cal, Moss was tied with Del Rodgers for the school record of 31 career rushing touchdowns.
In the first quarter, Moss found the end zone to take the record and gave Utah a 7-0 lead over the Golden Bears.

Last week, the senior broke the school record for career rushing yards in the Utes 21-3 win over Arizona State, passing Eddie Johnson, who had the record since 1988.
Before the game against the Bears, Moss was No. 4 in the Pac-12 in rushing yards this season with 613, 8th in rushing attempts with 93 and first in the conference with 8 touchdowns.
Moss racked up the 32 touchdowns in his career by finding the end zone twice as a freshman in 2016. He finished with 10 touchdowns in his sophomore season in 2017, 11 as a junior last season and nine this year as a senior.
The Miami, Florida native still has one more rushing record that he can break against Cal. If he rushes for over 100 yards, he will pass Devontae Booker and John White for the most 100-yard rushing games in a career in Utah football history with 15 games.
