LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell took off his shoes following the Jazz vs. Lakers game in Los Angeles and handed them to a young Jazz fan in the crowd.
The fan was wearing a Donovan Mitchell #45 classic Jazz jersey from last season and a pair of red/blue Adidas D.O.N Issue #1 shoes.
After Mitchell handed him the shoes, the fan had a smile on his face that went ear-to-ear.

This isn’t an unexpected gesture as the Jazz guard has consistently given shoes away to fans before and after games both on the road and at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
The shoes Mitchell wore and gave to the fan on Friday, October 25 were the most recent released version of his signature shoes from Adidas. They were the black, white, and gold colorway of his Issue #1 kicks.
