Green Canyon Edges Logan In Overtime

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Green Canyon picked up a big win in region 11 after getting past Logan in overtime, 36-35.
After the game went into overtime, Green Canyon won the game by getting a two-point conversion. For Green Canyon, Jacob Lundin had one passing and three rushing touchdowns. Kade Thornley ran into the end zone four times for Logan.

Region 9
Crimson Cliffs 14 at Cedar City 42
Cedar City scored 14 unanswered points before Crimson Cliffs jumped on the scoreboard. Jaron Garrett threw three touchdowns and ran in another score for Cedar City. Kolbe Meek added 2 touchdowns on the ground.
Desert Hills 3 at Pine View 55
Desert Hills scored their field goal early in the first quarter before Pine View rattled off 55 unanswered points. Macloud Crowton threw two touchdowns, while Enoch Takau ran in three scores in the big win for Pine View.

Hurricane 6 at Dixie 42
Four different Dixie players ran in a touchdown. Reggie Graff threw two touchdown passes and ran in a score, hitting Treyce Simmons and Hunter Knighton.
Snow Canyon 37 at Canyon View 0
Snow Canyon scored 21 of their 37 points in the first quarter. Bretton Stone had two rushing touchdowns with Ryan Bethers finding the end zone on the ground once.
Region 10
Ben Lomond 6 at Uintah 0
Ben Lomond scored the only touchdown of the game in the second quarter when DeVaugh Sanders found the end zone. The defense from both teams dominated the game.
Mountain View 49 at Cedar Valley 14
Mountain View jumped out to a 35-0 lead before Cedar Valley scored for the first time in the second quarter. McKay Strauss found the end zone twice on the ground. Colton Burr added a rushing touchdown. Duce Anderson threw two touchdowns, while Jett Anderson added another through the air. Ben Mella caught all three passing touchdowns for Mountain View.
Park City 31 at Tooele 0
Mark McCurdy accounted for three of Park City’s four touchdowns, two receiving and one rushing. Dylan Bauer had a rushing touchdown, while both Grant Warner and Jack Skidmore had a score through the air in the shutout win over Tooele.
Stansbury 63 at Ogden 15
Stansbury scored 14 points or more in each quarter on Thursday night and blew out Ogden 63-15. Andrew Hanson had an 80-yard fumble recovery for Stansbury in the win. Ogden was held scoreless in the 2nd and 4th quarter.
Region 11
Bear River 0 at Sky View 35
Kason Carlsen accounted for all five Sky View touchdowns, four through the air and one on the ground. Mason Falslev hauled in two touchdowns, along with Brigham Lewis and Tate Ballard each catching a touchdown.
Mountain Crest 6 at Ridgeline 3 OT
The game was scoreless when it went to overtime. Ridgeline scored first on a field goal before Hunter Schroeder ran in a 17-yard touchdown for Mountain Crest to get the win.
