FOXBORO, Mass. – New England Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy dove with full extension towards the endzone and scored a touchdown on a scoop-n-score fumble recovery against the New York Giants.

Van Noy’s fumble recovery for TD came with 8:33 left in the fourth quarter of the Thursday night football game between the Pats and Giants on October 10.

It was the former BYU LB’s third career touchdown.

Van Noy picked up a fumble by the Giants’ Jonathan Hilliman and ran it 22 yards to the endzone. The linebacker dove with football in his hands and his arms extended towards the pylon.

The officials ruled Van Noy down and out of bounds short of the goal line before reviewing the play. After review, Van Noy was ruled inbounds all the way to the endzone.

The touchdown gave the Patriots a 28-14 lead over the Giants.

Van Noy ended the game with two tackles, one sack, two quarterback hits, and the fumble recovery for TD.

New England finished the game with a 35-14 victory and moved to a 6-0 record this season.
