SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz will be without Mike Conley, Dante Exum, Rudy Gobert, and Donovan Mitchell against the Adelaide 36ers. The team listed the four players as OUT for the preseason game.
The Jazz will be without three of their projected starters vs the 36ers on Saturday, October 5 in the team’s first preseason game of the year.
Emmanuel Mudiay was listed as probable for the game on the team’s injury report.
Jazz Injury Report:
Mike Conley – OUT (rest)
DantΓ© Exum – OUT (right knee rehab)
Rudy Gobert – OUT (rest)
Donovan Mitchell – OUT (rest)
Emmanuel Mudiay – PROBABLE (general soreness)— Utah Jazz (@utahjazz) October 5, 2019
Conley, Gobert, and Mitchell will not play against Adelaide due to rest.
Exum will be out against the team from his home country as he continues to rehab his right knee after injuring it last season. It is unlikely that he will play in any preseason games or at least not extended minutes as the Jazz management are being conservative with his recovery.
Jazz fans will have to wait for at least one more game to see Conley’s debut.
The point guard joined the Jazz after spending the first 12 seasons of his career with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jazz fans will see the debut of forwards Bojan Bogdanovic and Jeff Green as well as center Ed Davis on Saturday night. The three players signed with the organization as free agents this past offseason.
The Jazz and 36ers will tip-off at Vivint Smart Home Arena at 7 p.m. (MDT). The game is available AT&T SportsNet and 1280 AM.
Tickets for the game start at $5.
