Utah Jazz Will Wear Retro Mountain Uniforms In 15 Games

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz announced that they will wear the famous “mountain” uniforms in 15 regular season games and could possibly be more.
They will sport the uniforms that were worn by the Jazz from 1996-04 beginning on October 26 at home against the Sacramento Kings. Utah will wear the jerseys in 11 games at home and 4 on the road.
The home games include the Kings, Los Angeles Clippers (twice), Golden State Warriors, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and the Chicago Bulls.

The Jazz also announced the games that they will wear the gold “statement” uniforms in 16 games this season, 8 at home and 8 on the road, beginning on November 1 against the Kings on the road.

The “Icon” uniforms will be worn in 12 games, two at home and 10 on the road, while they will sport the white “Association” uniforms in 23 games, 10 at home and 13 on the road.
That leaves 16 games that Utah has not claimed which uniforms they will wear. Fans are asking what happened to the famous “City” uniforms that represented southern Utah. The Jazz could unveil a new city edition uniform and play the remaining 16 games with those uniforms. Nothing has been announced by the Jazz.
