Rimando’s Kids Share Message With Him Before His Final RSL Home Game

SANDY, Utah – The children of Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando, Jett and Benny, shared a special message with their father before his final home game.
Rimando’s last home match for RSL is on Sunday, September 29.
Jett and Benny sent their dad a message via the Real Salt Lake Twitter account before his final home game.

Rimando’s kids reminded their dad of the career that he’s had in Major League Soccer and the records he’s broken.
In the video, Rimando’s son shared a story where his little league soccer team ordered him a jersey that was too big and that he was embarrassed by the need to tuck it in. According to the story, Rimando told his son that is was ok and that he would tuck in his jersey too.
The RSL goalie is retiring at the conclusion of the 2019 season.
Rimando has played 13 seasons for the Utah club. He has two regular-season games remaining this season including a home finale on Sunday, September 29 at 5:30 p.m. against the Houston Dynamo.
Real Salt Lake can clinch a spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs with a win over the Dynamo.
