Wilson Finds Hifo For Second TD Reception Of 3rd Quarter To Take Lead

TOLEDO, Ohio – BYU quarterback Zach Wilson’s top receiving target on Saturday at the Glass Bowl against Toledo has been senior wideout Aleva Hifo.
The two connected for a 75-yard touchdown to open up the third quarter and then they found each other again in the quarter.

With 2:08 remaining in the third quarter and the game tied up at 14, Wilson found Hifo in the flat for a three-yard touchdown reception to regain the lead over Toledo.
Entering Saturday’s game Hifo didn’t have any touchdown receptions on the season. Hifo’s last TD reception was against another program from the Mid-American Conference last December when the Cougars defeated Western Michigan in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl for a 70-yard gain.

Hifo now has six career touchdown receptions during his four years at BYU.
