Utah’s Francis Bernard, BYU’s Aleva Hifo Selected To Play In Hula Bowl

SALT LAKE CITY – The Hula Bowl is back. Once viewed as one of the best college football All-Star games, the Hula Bowl is returning after an 11-year hiatus
Local college football fans will have a reason to watch the return of the Hula Bowl.
Utah linebacker Francis Bernard and BYU wide receiver Aleva Hifo were both selected to participate in the Hula Bowl.

Last played in 2008, the Hula Bowl takes place in Honolulu’s Aloha Stadium. The date of the Hula Bowl has yet to be announced, but it is expected to be played this January.
Both Bernard and Hifo have played in four games so far in the 2019 season.

Bernard, a senior starting linebacker for the Utah defense, has recorded 25 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and an interception that he returned for a touchdown against BYU in week one.
Senior Aleva Hifo has started four games for BYU and has hauled in 15 receptions for 172 yards along with 26 rushing yards to total 198 yards from scrimmage this season.
