Utah Natives Lewis, Bachman Featured In Kings’ Shootout Victory Over Canucks

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Los Angeles Kings’ Trevor Lewis and the Vancouver Canucks’ Richard Bachman were featured in the King’s 7-5 Salt Lake Shootout victory. Lewis and Bachman are both native Utahns.
Lewis was responsible for two assists and one shot on goal in LA’s win.
Bachman came into the game as the Canucks’ backup goalie and saved five shots in Vancouver’s loss.

The Kings and Canucks met on Saturday, September 21 in the second edition of the Salt Lake Shootout. Both teams faced each other in the 2018 preseason Shootout.
Lewis is a former Cottonwood Heights star. He is in the last year of his four year contract with the Kings. The former Colt has played in 618 games and scored 151 points. Lewis has won two Stanley Cups with the Kings.

Bachman is a native of Salt Lake City. He had his 2018 NHL season end in December with an Achilles injury. Bachman is in the last year of his contract with the Canucks.

Kings defensemen Daniel Brickley is also a Utahn but did not play in the Shootout.
