PROVO, Utah – BYU linebacker Payton Wilgar had a spectacular diving interception of USC quarterback Kedon Slovis in the first quarter of Saturday’s game.
A few plays later, the Cougars were on the goal line. The Cougars ran a scrum formation and gave the ball to defensive back Dayan Ghanwook who dove into the endzone for the BYU touchdown.
The pick reversed USC’s momentum and gave the Cougars some after allowing the Trojans to take a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter.
