The Aggies knocked off BYU last season in Provo with a 45-20 win. It’s the first time that Utah State has won back-to-back meetings since 1974. That was also the largest margin of victory over BYU since 1968, when the Aggies won 34-8.
The last time that BYU played in Logan was in 2017, when the Aggies started the winning streak with a 40-24 win. It will be the first time since 2016 that the game isn’t being played on a Friday.
In the 2018 contest, Jordan Love threw for 165 yards and 4 touchdowns, while rushing for another score. Running back Darwin Thompson rushed for 109 yards on 17 carries and Tipa Galeai returned an interception 56 yards for a touchdown.
