BEIJING, China – Jazz teammates, Rudy Gobert and Joe Ingles will face each other in the bronze medal game of the FIBA World Cup on Sunday morning.
Sunday’s game will be the second meeting between Gobert and Ingles in the World Cup. Ingles and Australia defeated Gobert and France 100-98 on Monday, September 9.
During Australia’s win, Ingles had an impressive drive sliding past Gobert for a lay-up. Immediately following the basket, Ingles stared down his Jazz teammate.
Will Gobert avenge the loss to Ingles and have a staredown of his own in Sunday’s match?
I would love to know what was said between Joe Ingles and Rudy Gobert on this play. #TakeNote #UtahJazz pic.twitter.com/zq03Phjau0
