Weber State Running Back Josh Davis Honored Player Of The Week

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –Â Weber State’s sophomore running back Josh Davis is the Big Sky Conference offensive player of the week.
In the Wildcat’s dominant win over Cal Poly Davis ran for 129 yards and racked up 164 all-purpose yards.
His most notable carry was a 22-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Davis’ second touchdown came off an 18-yard run in the third.

Davis is a native of Utah hailing from Sandy. After his freshman campaign with Weber State he won the Jerry Rice Award as the national freshman of the year in the Big Sky.

Weber State beat Cal Poly in Ogden 41-24 on Saturday.
