Gobert’s Double-Double Helps France To Easy Win Over Jordan

SHANGHAI, China – Utah Jazz and French National Team center Rudy Gobert had a dominant performance in France’s 103-64 win over Jordan in the FIBA World Cup of basketball.
Gobert finished with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks, while shooting 5-of-8 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line in 22 minutes on the floor.
In their first win of the tournament against Germany, Gobert had 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Nando De Colo was the only player to score more than Gobert, he finished with 19 points and 8 assists. Orlando Magic guard Evan Fournier had 13 points, while New York Knicks point guard Frank Ntilikina added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
Dar Tucker led Jordan with 20 points, while Zaid Abbas chipped in 12 points as the only two Jordan players to reach double figures in scoring.
France is now 2-0 in Group G, tied with the Dominican Republic for first place. The French hold the tiebreaker with a plus-43 point differential. France and the Dominican Republic will battle for Group G on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
