PORTLAND, Oregon – Real Salt Lake looks to continue their momentum on the road as they face the Portland Timbers on the road at Providence Park on Saturday, August 31.
The momentum the team is carrying could change quickly if RSL is not careful.
Real Salt Lake currently sits second in the Western Conference standings. Only three points separate RSL and FC Dallas, who is seventh place.
The Western Conference standings could drastically change before the MLS season is over.

This week’s matchup is a fascinating one.
RSL heads north to Providence Park, home of the Portland Timbers.
The Timbers are currently eighth in the conference. They beat RSL earlier in the season at Rio Tinto Stadium 2-1.
