Weber State will begin the 2019 season on Saturday, August 31 at San Diego State. They will then host Cal Poly on September 7 in their new digs before traveling to Nevada on September 14. The Wildcats have won the Big Sky Conference title in the last two seasons, including runs into the FCS Playoffs.
Last season, they finished with a 10-3 overall record and a 7-1 mark in conference play, but lost to Maine in their second playoff game. In 2017, they made it to the semifinals before losing to FCS powerhouse James Madison.
Weber State is the third school in the state to receive an upgrade in their football facilities, joining Utah and Utah State.
