Jazz Add Another Guard, Forward To Roster

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz announced they have signed forward Juwan Morgan and guard Trevon Bluiett.
Morgan was a member of the Jazz’s summer league roster in both Salt Lake City and Las Vegas this summer. He played in six games for the team with averages of 6.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in the Vegas exhibitions.
The 6’8″ forward joins the franchise after a four-year playing career at Indiana University. He averaged 15.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.2 steals in 35 games as a senior. Morgan was recognized with All-Big 10 Third Team honors for his performance in 2018-19.

Blueitt joins the Utah Jazz after spending last season with the New Orleans Pelicans. During the 2018-19 season, he was under a two-way contract meaning he could play for both the NBA squad and their G-League affiliate.
He played 17 games for the Westchester Knicks before getting transferred to the Salt Lake City Stars. As a member of the Stars, he appeared in seven games posting 13.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals.

Prior to his NBA career, the 6’6″ guard was a four-year standout for Xavier University. During his college years, he was a three-time All-Big East First Team selection. In his senior season, he averaged 19.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
