SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Rumors have swirled around Utah running back Zack Moss and a possible hand injury according to social media reports, but both Moss and head coach Kyle Whittingham have shrugged those off after Day 7 of fall camp.
“We don’t report on injuries,” Whittingham stated. “If it is season ending, then we will report it but unless the NCAA mandates an injury report, but until then we will not address it.”
Moss was available to speak to the media at practice and didn’t say much about the reports.
“I’m good, I’m good, no problems,” Moss said.

The only time that Whittingham talks about injuries is if player is done for the season. But, Moss said he was fine and that he will be able to play against BYU on August 29 in the season opener.
“I was out here with the guys,” Moss said. “I practiced today.”
All of this was discussed on the latest Crimson Corner podcast.
“Yes sir,” Moss said when asked if he expects to be on the field for the opener against BYU.
Whittingham talked about the backup running backs and how they are competing for the No. 2 spot.
“The young guys continue to impress, Jordan Wilmore continues to get better and feel more comfortable with the offense,” Whittingham said.
Utah was limiting Moss in fall camp anyway to make sure he was healthy for the season.
