SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – With a little over three weeks away from the start of the college football season in the state of Utah, the hype surrounding the Utes continues to build ahead of the 2019 campaign.
ESPN released their preseason power rankings and has listed Utah at No. 13.
Oregon is the highest ranked team in the Pac-12 at No. 11, with Utah as the second highest and the highest and only team in the Pac-12 South Division.

Only two other Pac-12 schools cracked the power rankings with Washington just behind Utah at number 14 and Stanford at No. 20.
Here is what ESPN’s Edward Aschoff had to say about the Utes:
The media picked the Utes to win the Pac-12 title, and with 15 starters back to a team that won the Pac-12 South last year, you have to like their chances. One thousand-yard rusher Zack is back, and so is a healthier Tyler Huntley at quarterback, who packed on 25-plus pounds of muscle during the offseason.
Not only is Utah talented on offense but their defense is arguably more talented.
