SANDY, Utah – Forward Christen Press has picked up where she has left off with a goal in the first half against the North Carolina Courage.
Press scored a brilliant goal in the 13th minute as Veronica Boquete set up the shot just outside the 18-yard box and Press fired the shot with her right foot, sending the ball to the far post.
It’s the third goal of the season for Press and her second straight game scoring a goal after scoring in the first half against Portland last week.
