SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – One day after leaving Utah star running back Zack Moss off of the Doak Walker Award watch list, they have decided to add Moss to the award watch list that is given to the best running back in the country.
Ten semifinalists will be named in November and three finalists will be announced on November 20.
The winner will be named during the college football awards show on December 12.
The Doak Walker Awards’ official site states that University athletic departments nominate candidates for the award and can continue to do so through October.
Moss rushed for 1,096 yards in nine games last season before missing the last five games due to injury.
