Waiving Neto created cap space for the team to complete the Mike Conley trade.
The Jazz acquired Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen, Kyle Korver, the 23rd pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and a future first-round pick.
