SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Media from around the NBA has been impressed with what Utah Jazz general manager Justin Zanik and vice president of basketball operations Dennis Lindsey have done in the last 10 days.
The Jazz have expressed their desire to be aggressive in free agency after their season concluded by losing to the Houston Rockets in five games in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.
They did that by acquiring Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Jae Crowder, Grayson Allen, Kyle Korver, the 23rd pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and a future first round pick.
Utah took another step in the right direction by agreeing to terms with Indiana Pacers forward Bojan Bogdanovic.
With those players teaming up with Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles and Rudy Gobert, their are a lot of national pundits that believe the Jazz could win the Western Conference.
Brooklyn Nets will get the media attention but the Utah Jazz have absolutely crushed the last ten days. Love the @utahjazz roster now.

Once Nikola Mirotic made a surprising decision to return to Europe, new Jazz GM Justin Zanik pivoted and made a strong push to sign Bogdanovic out of Indiana. In his first few months as GM, Zanik has landed Mike Conley and Bogdanovic. Jazz are a legitimate Western contender now.

The Jazz are the 2019-20 season's NBA Finals dark horse. With Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic joining Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and Joe Ingles, they have a deep, versatile team that's far more potent on offense and will again be elite defensively. What a summer for Utah. https://t.co/WIJnZ1HzDn

Utah is my favorite, currently, to win the West. They made significant upgrades. https://t.co/i456taNdH7

Bojan Bogdanovic to Utah is a tremendous move for the Jazz. Utah adding Bogdanovic and Mike Conley to its mix alongside Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles and Rudy Gobert should eliminate any of the previous issues Utah has had in the playoffs with a lack of offense.
