SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Just days away from free agency beginning in the NBA, Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell predicted where key free agents will go on the “Sports Pulse.”
Teams can officially talk to free agents at 4 p.m. MT on Sunday, but can’t officially sign their contract until July 6 when the new league year begins.
Mitchell didn’t predict any key free agents joining the Jazz, especially after reports indicate that Utah acquired Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies.

He predicted where Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Kawhi Leonard, Kemba Walker, Khris Middleton, D’Angelo Russell, Kyrie Irving, DeMarcus Cousins and Malcolm Brogdon would go.
Mitchell started by predicting Durant will sign with either the New York Knicks or the Brooklyn Nets.
He believes that Thompson will return to play for the Golden State Warriors.
As far as Jimmy Butler goes, Mitchell had no idea, the only thing he predicted was “not Philly.”
Mitchell pegged Tobias Harris to re-sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
He had no idea where Al Horford would go and listed his prediction as “IDK.”
If Mitchell was in Kawhi Leonard’s situation, he would stay in Toronto.
The Jazz guard thought that Kemba Walker would go back home and play for the New York Knicks. Multiple reports are pointing to Boston as Walker’s next destination.
Khris Middleton was predicted to return to Milwaukee.
D’Angelo Russell was a tough one, so Mitchell chalked it up as another “IDK.”
Mitchell said that Kyrie Irving is “for sure” going to sign with the Brooklyn Nets.
He thinks that DeMarcus Cousins will re-sign with the Golden State Warriors.
Mitchell predicts Brogdon to stay in Milwaukee.
