BYU, Utah Golfers Named 2019 All-Americans

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Members of BYU and Utah’s men’s golf teams were honored as All-American selections for their play in the 2019 season.
Cougar golfers Peter Kuest and Rhett Rasmussen were both given All-American accolades with Kuest as a second team selection and Rasmussen making the honorable mention squad.
Utah’s Kyle Dunkle was also named to the honorable mention team.

Kuest, the West Coast Conference Player of the Year, won five tournaments in 2019 while Rasmussen, also a WCC First-Teamer, won the NCAA Pullman Regional and had two other top-five finishes.
Peter Kuest was named to the Division I PING All-America Second Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Junior Rhett Rasmussen was named an honorable mention.

Dunkle had a historic 2019 season for the Utes as he was the first Utah golfer to play at the NCAA Championships since 2006. He finished his career with three tournament wins.
