SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – They were both selected by the Utah Jazz in the NBA Draft, but it won’t be the first time that Jarrell Brantley and Justin Wright-Foreman have suited up and played together.
In Thursday’s NBA Draft, Brantley was selected by Utah with the 50th overall pick and Wright-Foreman was picked by the team at 53rd overall. The two joined Yale’s Miye Oni, who was picked with the 58th selections, as the Jazz’s three draft choices in 2019.
While they hail from different univeristies, Brantley from Charleston and Wright-Foreman from Hofstra, the two played together to represent the Colonial Athletic Association in a three-on-three tournament.

“That was so much fun playing with those guys. … We were a tight-knit group. We did everything together. They are such good guys. They became like my brothers,” said Brantley.
They were brothers and teammates then and now Brantley and Wright-Foreman are teammates once again on the Utah Jazz.
