BROOKLYN, N.Y. – NBA Draft prospect Bol Bol drew plenty of attention, especially from a few Utah Jazzmen, after arriving to Thursday’s draft wearing a bold suit choice.
Bol, who is projected to be a first-round selection, arrived at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn wearing a black suit with a silver spider’s web embroidered on the chest. It caught a lot of interest on social media and naturally got a comment from Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, who is nicknamed “Spida.”

Mitchell’s teammate, Rudy Gobert, replied to the photo of Bol with a snarky comment directed at Mitchell.
Finally someone who knows how to wear a Spiderman suit. https://t.co/TZoL1V03zs

Last week, KSLSports.com speculated that Bol would make an excellent fit on the Jazz. Utah however, traded away its first round pick, the 23rd overall, to Memphis in a deal for longtime Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley Jr. It’s unlikely that Bol and Mitchell will be duking it out for the nickname “Spida,” while being members of the same team.
The NBA Draft is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN. The Jazz hold one selection, the 53rd overall in the second round.
