SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love sparked a buzz among Utah Jazz fans with a post on his Instagram page earlier this week.
Love, who has also been known to spend significant time in Park City during his offseasons, snapped a photo of himself looking out on the Southern Utah landscape while relaxing at The Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point.
The photo’s caption also fueled Jazz fans’ intrigue as Love wrote simply, “Western Conference” with a location pin emoji.
The former UCLA has since continued to fill his Instagram feed with a handful of other pictures from his visit to Bryce Canyon National Park.
Love has long been considered to be a possible trade target for the Jazz as his ability to shoot from outside could be a nice fit among Utah’s other stars, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell. He also has a championship pedigree as he was a key member of Cleveland’s 2016 NBA Finals-winning squad.
Utah’s Lt. Governor Spencer Cox, a noted Jazz fan, offered to make his pitch for Love to spend the entire NBA season with the Jazz.
It makes my heart happy that Kevin Love spends so much time in Utah during the off-season finding peace and solitude.
(Hey Kevin, it’s a pretty great place DURING the season too…just sayin) https://t.co/PdtnwKFc0I

If the Jazz are indeed interested in helping Love spend his fall, winter and spring in Utah, it’ll have to be via a trade. Love is under contract with the Cavaliers through 2023.
