BARCELONA, Spain – After two sensational seasons with Zalgiris in Lithuania, former BYU big man Brandon Davies will join FC Barcelona.
Davies finished his second season with a 16.9 points per game average and was named First Team All-EuroLeague.
The former Cougar tweeted out a YouTube video of Zalgiris’ tribute to Davies, calling him one of the best centers in team history.

Barcelona finished the season with the fifth best record in Europe and lost their best-of-five first round series to Anadolu Efes in five games. Davis will join a roster with familiar faces, including former Gonzaga guard Kevin Pangos as well as former NBA players Kevin Seraphin and Chris Singleton.
Center Ante Tomic has a small tie to the Utah Jazz as we was selected by the team in the second round of the 2008 NBA Draft, but never played in the league.
Davies was bought out of his contract by Zalgiris in order to join Barcelona.
He spent two seasons in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets when he graduated from BYU.
