SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio has been making media appearances in Spain and told a local radio station that the Jazz told him that he is not a priority this off-season.
Rubio told Catalunya Radio Journalist Ernest Macia in Barcelona that “”Utah has already made me know I’m not a priority for them.”
The veteran point guard from Spain is set to be a free agent on June 30 after spending the last two seasons with the Utah Jazz.

The news coming from the Jazz isn’t surprising as Rubio was not happy with the front office at the end of the season when he was rumored to being dealt to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Mike Conley, which ultimately didn’t happen.
Rubio averaged 12.7 points and 6.1 assists per game this past season and recorded 12.9 points and 5.7 assists per contests in the 145 games played during the regular season in a Jazz uniform.

He elevated his average in the playoffs with 15.4 points and 8.6 assists per game in the five game series against the Houston Rockets.
Jazz vice president of basketball operations Dennis Lindsey told the media that they will be active during the off-season to find talent that will take the organization to the next level.
