Oliver Dunn Named Third Team All-American By Collegiate Baseball

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah infielder Oliver Dunn added another honor to his resume after a terrific individual season in 2019.
Collegiate Baseball has named Dunn as a Third Team All-American selection, it was announced on Friday. Earlier in the week, he was named as a First Team All-Pac honoree.
Dunn is the 10th Ute to earn All-American honors in program history and the first since Dallas Carroll in 2017.

Starting all 49 games for Utah in 2019, bringing his streak of consecutive start streak to 117, Dunn led the team in nearly every batting category. He led the Utes with a batting average of .366, had 71 hits and scored 45 runs while bringing home 28 RBIs.
Dunn is considered to be one of the top prospects from the Beehive State in next week’s Major League Baseball Draft. The Draft will take place June 3-5.
Utes Earn Academic Honors
The Pac-12 Conference announced its 2019 All-Academic squad on Thursday, naming four Utes among the honorees.
Chander Anderson and Rykker Tom were named to the Second Team while Dunn and Brett Brocoff were selected as honorable mentions.
