RSL Gives Up ‘Bad, Bad Goal’ Just Before Halftime Against Montreal
May 29, 2019, 6:36 PM
MONTREAL – Just before the end of the first half in the match between Real Salt Lake and the Montreal Impact, Montreal’s Omar Browne put his team ahead with his second goal of the season.
RSL’s color analyst Brian Dunseth called the goal a “bad, bad, bad goal,” given up by the visiting team.
Montreal broke through the RSL defense just before the end of the half when Browne received a negative ball from a teammate inside the box and buried a low shot into the far corner of the goal. RSL’s Nick Rimando, who had made an amazing save to start the match, dove for the ball but was unable to get a hand on it.
