Moss, Anae Highlight Athlon Sports’ Preseason Pac-12 Selections

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Athlon Sports released its preseason Pac-12 All-Conference squads for the 2019 season and Utah is heavily represented across all four teams.
Oregon had the most players on the four teams with 13 selections while Utah tied with Washington State and Arizona State for the next most with 11.
The lists are a projection and a prediction for how the players are expected to play in 2019.
Ute running back Zack Moss made the first team offense with defensive linemen Bradlee Anae and Leki Fotu joining cornerback Jaylon Johnson on the defense. Punt returner Britain Cover was also named to the first team.

Covey also made the second team offense as an all-purpose player along with offensive lineman Darrin Paulo. Defensive lineman John Penisini and cornerback Julian Blackmon were listed on the defensive second team.
Quarterback Tyler Huntley and cornerback Javelin Guidry were selected to the third team.
Utah’s 2019 season will begin on the road at BYU on August 29.
