Joe Ingles Named To Australian National Team For 2019 FIBA World Cup

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Australian Boomers have finalized their 17-man roster that will compete in the 2019 FIBA World Cup and Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles is on the team.
The Basketball World Cup will take place in China between August 31 and September 15.
They will have four warm-up games prior to the World cup against Canada in Perth on August 16 and 17 and the United States in Melbourne on August 22 and 24.

Ingles joins seven Australian players who are currently on NBA rosters, which includes Cleveland Cavaliers’ Deng Adel and Matthew Dellavedova, Boston Celtics center Aron Baynes, Golden State Warriors big man and former Ute Andrew Bogut, Ben Simmons and Jonah Bolden from the Philadelphia 76ers and Patty Mills from the San Antonio Spurs.
The Jazzman has played for the national team many times throughout his basketball career. His first appearance was in 2008 and has played in the Olympics three times. He finished his fifth NBA season with Utah, averaging 12.1 points, 4 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.
