PORTLAND, Ore. – Former Weber State star and current Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard was named to the All-NBA Second Team.
It’s the fourth All-NBA honor for Lillard. He was named to the First Team last season, the Second Team in 2016 and the Third Team in 2013. He was also named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2013.
In the regular season, the time for which voting was cast, Lillard averaged 23.5 points per game with 6.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game while playing in 80 of a possible 82 games for Portland. In the playoffs, Lillard had some amazing moments, most memorably hitting a series-clinching 3-pointer at the buzzer from over 30 feet out to send the Oklahoma City Thunder packing.
Just a kid from Brookfield who is now 4X All-NBA.
