ESPN Announces Date For Potential BYU Bowl Game

PROVO, Utah – Book your tickets now, BYU fans. The date for BYU’s potential bowl game in Hawaii was announced on Thursday by ESPN.
The 2019 SoFi Hawaii Bowl is slated to kick off on Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.
If BYU becomes bowl eligible and is not selected to a New Year’s Six bowl game, the Cougars will be headed to Hawaii for their postseason action this year.
ESPN has announced that the 2019 SoFi Hawai’i Bowl will be played on Dec 24 at 3pm HT (6pm MT) on ESPN.

The bowl also has tie-ins with the Mountain West Conference and the American Athletic Conference.
Last season, the Cougars wrapped up a 7-6 season with a 49-18 victory over Western Michigan in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise.
BYU’s 2019 season will kick off at home against Utah on Aug. 29.
