Former BYU C Brandon Davies Named First Team All-Euroleague

PROVO, Utah – Former BYU and NBA big man Brandon Davies has wrapped up his second season in Europe and picked up an award for his performance.
The Provo, Utah native was named first team All-Euroleague. He finished his second season with BC Zalgiris in Lithuania and averaged 14.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 56 percent from the field in 24.2 minutes. Davies started 33 of his 34 games played.
The club finished the season as the No. 8-seed in the Playoffs but lost their best-of-five series to Fenerbahce Beko 3-1. A positive note is that Zalgiris had the highest average attendance at 14,808 fans per game.
CSKA Moscow won the Euroleague title, while Real Madrid took third place, which former Utah State guard Jaycee Carroll is on the team.
Last season, his first with Zalgiris, Davies posted 9.3 points and 3.5 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game.

Before playing in Europe, Davies spent two seasons in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers from 2013-15 and had a brief stint with the Brooklyn Nets from December 2014 to January 2015.
