SANDY, Utah ā With striker Sam Johnson on the bench to start the game, it was important for Real Salt Lake to get the first goal against Toronto FC.
In the 14th minute of the match, Damir Kreilach did just that for the home team.
After a service into the box by Albert Rusnak, Kreilach received the ball, jumbled with it for a moment with a Toronto defender before making space to take an acrobatic shot with the ball airborne at waist-level.

The low, bouncing shot rolled past Toronto goalkeeper Quentin Westberg and into the net for the opening goal of the match.
It was the third goal of the season for Kreilach.
Johnson, who ranked second on the team in goals with four, was benched prior to the game for arriving late to a team meeting, according to head coach Mike Petke. He was listed as a possible reserve.
The match between Real Salt Lake and Toronto FC can be streamed live on KSLSports.com and the KSL TV app.
