LOGAN, Utah – Utah State’s season opening game at Wake Forest will be available to a national viewing audience.
The announcement was made Wednesday that the game between the Aggies and Demon Deacons on Aug. 30 will air live on the ACC Network.
It’ll be the ninth nationally televised game of the 2019 season for the Aggies, who announced the other eight games last week. Four of those games will air on an ESPN network, while four others will be shown on the CBS Sports Network.
The Aggies finished the 2018 season with an 11-2 record and a victory in the New Mexico Bowl over North Texas. One of the best offensive teams in the country last season, the Aggies lost their head coach Matt Wells, as he as hired away by Texas Tech. To replace Wells, the Aggies hired Gary Andersen, who was an assistant at Utah and had previously been the head coach at Utah State from 2009-12.
