Johnson Scores To Help RSL Retake Lead Versus Colorado
May 11, 2019, 8:32 PM
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – Just when it seemed that Real Salt Lake had blown an opportunity to pick up some big points on the road, their 2-0 lead was lost. Fortunately, Sam Johnson put RSL up again with a goal in the second half.
Just a couple minutes after Danny Wilson scored to tie the game up at 2-all with a goal early in the second half, Johnson capitalized on a great pass from Damir Kreilach to retake the lead at 3-2.
It was the fourth goal of the season for Johnson, who has proven to be an incredible offseason addition by RSL.
