Utah State Student Athletes Exceed NCAA Academic Requirements

LOGAN, Utah – Led by strong academic performances by the men’s cross country team, Utah State’s scholarship student athletes turned in a strong APR score during the most recent four-year period.
APR is a tool used by the NCAA to measure the academic progress of an athletic department’s student athletes. The minimum requirement is a score of 930. Utah State averaged a score of 980, highlighted by the men’s cross country team, which scored a perfect 1,000.
Other teams that finished above 980 were women’s track and field, softball and men’s golf. The football team finished with a score of 963 and the men’s basketball team had a score of 955.

All 14 sports finished above the minimum of 930.
