Millsap Completes 4-Point Play After Being Fouled By Hood

DENVER, Colo. – A couple of former Utah Jazzmen collided in the second quarter of Game 5 between the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers when Rodney Hood fouled Paul Millsap on a 3-point attempt.
Millsap drained the shot despite Hood’s foul and then made the free throw to complete the four-point play.
The play took place just before the end of the first half. At halftime, the Nuggets led by a considerable margin with a 65-47 advantage.

Millsap led all scorers with 19 points after scoring 12 in the opening period.
Former Weber State star Damian Lillard had an opportunity to convert a four-point play earlier in the quarter, but missed the free throw attempt. He had 18 points to lead Portland at the break.
The series between Portland and Denver was tied at two games apiece going into Game 5.
